Science4Pandemics is making available to secondary school teaching teams a free didactic unit designed to stimulate the scientific spirit and interest in scientific careers among 14-16 year olds in a playful way. This proposal aims to promote career orientation in the field of pandemic management and handling through guided work sessions.

Through gamification, we aim to develop students' ability to identify, select and critically evaluate scientific information. To this end, we have created free educational resources that will facilitate the introduction of science in a playful and accessible way in the classroom.

  1. Didactic Guide. A set of guided activities to discover with your students the health, research and communication professionals involved in the management of the pandemic (available in Spanish, Italian and Portuguese).

  1. Science4Pandemic video game. Through this digital game, your students will be immersed in the world of pandemic management professionals, putting into practice what they have learned while having fun (available in English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and French).

  1. Conference "Scientific vocations in the field of a pandemic". An event that will take place on 12  December 2023 (online) in which you will be able to attend with your students.

In addition, there will be a school competition among the schools participating in the activity, which will test the creativity of your students with the creation of a thematic video presenting a professional profile. The winning groups will have the opportunity to present their videos at an online event where they will meet science professionals.

Don't miss the opportunity to inspire your students and encourage their interest in scientific careers in a fun and educational way with Science4Pandemics!
